Photo Essay: Nature

Spending time outdoors has been something that piqued my interest for almost my entire life. I’ve always been drawn to how calm and relaxed it makes me feel. One of the best parts of the whole experience is how cheap and inexpensive it is. I started off with hiking with my parents on short trails, but now I’m camping and fishing and still loving it just as much as I did when I was young. Throughout my life, the things that I’ve enjoyed doing while in nature have changed but they all had one important similarity, I was outside.

When you’re outside you can’t help but notice all the small things around you. When you’re walking down a hiking bath and you are hit with sounds of the birds in the trees. Then you look down and you see all the tiny insects running around your boots, doing everything they can to not be crushed by the giant. When you stop and sit down you feel the cool breeze and hear a rushing river. All these separate moments come together to create the true beauty of the outdoors.
